«Uther Pendragon», the first Knight of a very long dynasty of heroes, all braver than the others, was none else than the father of the famous King Arthur. This mythical Knight reminds Gilles Rocha of very particular events. As a matter of fact, his first chivalrous composition which he signed Your Eminence Thomas Stephen Kerr, allowed him to win the supreme title of National Soloist Champion 2007 in Orsières, Valais. «Uther Pendragon» is also the name of his first CD, which means the beginning of an adventure, together with the writing of a new story, where his dream comes true.

The CD contains various pieces: first of all pieces by composers from the Canton of Valais, mostly written for local or national Championships. They contrast with slower and more peaceful pieces offering the audience the opportunity to appreciate the magnificent sound of the baritone. This instrument also excels in more amusing pieces, very well represented by the selection on this CD. Last but not least, a CD of this kind would not be complete without the presence of some classical pieces.
